Quick summary
- Dust is obtained by defeating Influenced and Fiendish creatures; normal creatures do not yield this resource.
- The item classification determines how far it can evolve.
- Common fusion part of 50% success; improvements raise the chance.
- Transfer moves progress, but usually reduces a tier.
Obtain Dust from the right creatures
During a hunt, normal creatures may receive a Forge classification. Influenced appears with stack S1–S5 and yields from S to 3×S Dust. Fiendish always appears as S15 and yields 15–45 Dust plus 3–7 Slivers.
Elite is a separate variation: a regular Elite does not yield Dust, but the same creature may be Elite and Influenced or Fiendish. Special bosses do not receive a Forge classification.
- Normal (S0): yields no Dust.
- Influenced (S1–S5): yields 1–3, 2–6, 3–9, 4–12 or 5–15 Dust according to its stack.
- Fiendish (S15): yields 15–45 Dust and 3–7 Slivers.
Understand Classification and Tier
The forge works until Tier 10, but not every item reaches that limit. Classification 1 allows Tier 1, to 2 reaches Tier 2, to 3 to Tier 3 and classification 4 can advance to Tier 10.
So check the rating before compromising resources. A transitional or limited part may not justify the same investment as an equipment that will remain relevant for longer.
Calculate the risk of merger
The base chance of a common merger is 50%. The improvement option adds 15 percentage points, and diamond reinforcement adds 5 points per use, respecting the 90% limit.
Other protections may reduce loss in a failure, but also cost. Read the full quote displayed by the game: it brings together the materials, the final chance and the possible results of that operation.
Use fusion, transfer and convergence correctly
Fusion seeks to elevate the equipment's Tier. Transfer moves progress to another piece, but under normal conditions the destination item receives a tier below the donor.
Convergence is reserved for classification 4, has guaranteed success and preserves the tier in the transfer. Even so, cost and eligibility must be confirmed in the interface before operation.
- Fusion: use when the current piece deserves an investment of evolution.
- Transfer: use to take advantage of progress when switching equipment.
- Convergence: Consider eligible items when preserving Tier is decisive.
Plan materials and long term
Dust, chips and cores form part of the chain of materials. The available conversion turns 60 units of dust into 3 chips, and 50 chips form a core.
Each character starts with a capacity of 100 Dust. The first upgrade costs 25 Dust, increases capacity by 1, and every subsequent upgrade costs 1 more. Standard upgrades raise this limit to 325.
The Dust Cap Unlock diamond perk has 13 ranks. Each rank unlocks 25 more points in the cap, raising the absolute maximum to 650; the additional capacity must still be purchased with Dust.
Avoid automatically converting everything you own. First identify the desired operation, check the quotation and preserve a booking for transfer or a future part.
Dust: how to obtain it and which creatures yield it
Dust does not drop from every creature. It is an exclusive reward from monsters that receive a Forge classification during a hunt: Influenced or Fiendish.
It has no Forge classification and yields no Dust. Being Elite alone does not generate Dust either.
Yields a random amount between its current stack and three times that stack: from 1–3 up to 5–15 Dust.
Yields 15–45 Dust and also 3–7 Slivers. At most four Fiendish creatures may be active.

| Type | Stack | Dust per kill | Normal / Forge Surge chance | Additional reward |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Normal | S0 | 0 | — | None |
| Influenced | S1 | 1–3 | 12% / 24% | — |
| Influenced | S2 | 2–6 | ||
| Influenced | S3 | 3–9 | ||
| Influenced | S4 | 4–12 | ||
| Influenced | S5 | 5–15 | ||
| Fiendish | S15 | 15–45 | 1,2% / 2,5% | 3–7 Slivers |
Dust capacity and excess rewards
Each standard upgrade increases capacity by 1. The first costs 25 Dust and each subsequent upgrade costs 1 more Dust, up to the standard limit of 325.
Dust Cap Unlock has 13 ranks. Each rank unlocks 25 more points in the capacity cap; capacity upgrades are still purchased with Dust.
Practical tips
- First forge the most useful equipment in your progression.
- Compare the gain of the forge with a direct item change.
- Plan the transfer before replacing a very evolved piece.
- Prioritize Influenced and Fiendish when you need to replenish Dust.
- Review the final chance and all possible results in confirmation.
Erros comuns
- Assuming any item can reach the 10th tier.
- Confound high chance with guaranteed success.
- Transfer without considering the normal loss of a tier.
- Defeating a Forge creature while Dust capacity is full.
- Consume all materials without a next defined operation.
