What are Boss Questlines
Boss Questlines are solo endgame campaigns made up of consecutive arenas. Each campaign adapts a familiar boss sequence for solo combat in Realm of Idle Hunts, preserving the objectives, phases, summons, and hazards unique to each encounter.
The resource is separate from world bosses and the Bestiary. Progression belongs to the character: entries, unlocked difficulties, best time, title and aura are recorded individually.
- Format: solo campaign in mandatory and ordered rooms.
- Base requirement: level 250.
- Entry: via the Boss Questlines menu, while in Safe Zone.
- Progression: independent for each character and for each campaign.
The eight available campaigns
Each campaign has its own page with the complete order of rooms, counters, phases and exact victory conditions. Choose the questline you want to tackle below.
- Grave Danger — 6 rooms: brothers in relay, transformation of Duke Krule and King Zelos.
- Feaster of Souls — 4 rooms: shared living, Wormlings explosives and The Pale Worm.
- Dream Courts — 6 rooms: curse, dream, invocations and The Nightmare Beast.
- Falcon Bastion — 6 rooms: five commanders and the four bars of Grand Master Oberon.
- Ferumbras Ascension — 9 rooms: eight minibosses and four steps to Ferumbras Mortal Shell.
- Heart of Destruction — 9 rooms: charges, alternate forms, arena objectives and World Devourer.
- Soul War — 6 rooms: Tormento growing, evolving souls and three forms of Megalomania.
- Rotten Blood — 5 rooms: Taint rising, teleport, Elder Bloodjaws and Bakragore.
Daily entry, reset and availability
Each character receives one entry per campaign each day. Confirming entry consumes that questline's quota immediately; dying, abandoning or letting time end does not give it back. The reset takes place at the turn of the day in UTC, not at midnight on the device.
Campaign and difficulty also need to be released by the server for the installed version. During a rollout, an option may appear unavailable even if the character meets level and forge. The confirmation screen message informs you of the current block.
- One daily entry per character and per campaign.
- The eight quotas are independent: using one does not consume the others.
- Daily reset on UTC turn.
- Entry is not refunded upon death, abandonment, disconnection or expiration.
- Requires campaign, difficulty and build released by the server.
Run, checkpoints and single resumption
Starting the questline opens a maximum four-hour window to complete the entire campaign. Each room before the final boss confirms a checkpoint and grants part of the reward. When you advance, completed rooms remain recorded in the run.
If the session is interrupted, Resume Room restarts only the current arena from the beginning: the health of enemies, adds, phases and counters return to their initial state. This feature can only be used once throughout the entire run; a second attempt ends the campaign.
- Maximum duration: four hours from booking entry.
- Checkpoint: preserves previous rooms and the partial reward already credited.
- Resume: completely restarts the current room.
- Limit: one retake per run; the second ends the attempt.
- Abandonment and expiration keep the input consumed.
Forging Difficulties and Requirements
Adventurer starts unlocked. Completing a difficulty for the first time opens the next one for that character, as long as it is also released on the server. The chosen difficulty remains fixed until the end of the run.
Multipliers cover bosses, summons and damage produced by arena mechanics. Enemies' base defense does not receive the multiplier. Nightmare and Mythic check the sum of currently equipped forge tiers.
- Adventurer — HP 1.0x; damage 1.0x; reward 1.0x; no minimum forging.
- Veteran — HP 1.8x; damage 1.25x; reward 1.4x; no minimum forging.
- Heroic — HP 3.2x; damage 1.55x; reward 2.0x; no minimum forging.
- Nightmare — HP 5.5x; damage 1.95x; reward 3.0x; equipped forge 8.
- Mythic — HP 9.0x; 2.5x damage; reward 4.5x; equipped forge 16.
Rewards, achievements and cosmetics
In each campaign, 30% of the reward is distributed between the checkpoints before the final boss; the remaining 70% arrive at completion. The final delivery is protected against duplication and also records the best time on that difficulty.
The first completion of each difficulty records an achievement. The first victory in the campaign unlocks your slayer title, and completing Mythical unlocks the corresponding aura. Grave Danger also has an exclusive item table.
- Adventurer — 500,000 XP, 100,000 gold, 500 Relic Coins, 10 Diamonds, and 50 Perk Points.
- Veteran — 700,000 XP, 140,000 gold, 700 Relic Coins, 14 Diamonds, and 70 Perk Points.
- Heroic — 1,000,000 XP, 200,000 gold, 1,000 Relic Coins, 20 Diamonds, and 100 Perk Points.
- Nightmare — 1,500,000 XP, 300,000 gold, 1,500 Relic Coins, 30 Diamonds, and 150 Perk Points.
- Mythic — 2,250,000 XP, 450,000 gold, 2,250 Relic Coins, 45 Diamonds, and 225 Perk Points.
- Grave Danger — young Lich worm on first completion of each difficulty and King Zelos gear chance of 5%, 10%, 20%, 35%, or 60%.
How to prepare for the first attempt
Read the specific guide before entering and note conditions that change the normal target: locked bars, creatures that need to die, objects that must be carried or phases in which the boss is immune. Some arenas directly punish those who insist only on the central target.
Mount protection for the indicated elements, take an alternative rotation against immunities and reserve support for the final boss. If the first room already consumes too many resources, use this result to adjust the build the next day instead of relying on the one retake.
- Choose the campaign and read all victory conditions.
- Check elements, immunities, periodic damage and explosions.
- Equip the required forge before confirming the difficulty.
- Set aside time for all rooms within the four-hour window.
- Track arena messages and counters during objective phases.
Practical tips
- Do each campaign first on Adventurer and go up one difficulty at a time.
- Treat the campaign guide as a checklist before spending your daily entry.
- Reserve the single resume for disconnection or actual session failure.
- Observe messages, counters and changes in name or color: these indicate the active phase.
- Check your equipped forge score before attempting Nightmare or Mythic.
Erros comuns
- Enter outside of Safe Zone or with a version not yet released by the server.
- Thinking that abandoning or dying returns the daily entry.
- Spending the resumption as a tactical reset and having no recovery for a disconnection.
- Ignore arena objectives and attack an immune or life-locked boss.
- Confusing a checkpoint with completion and losing 70% of the final reward.
